A Song of the Sea ------------------------- A stormy night on restless ocean. You swam to me, and took me down. I held your hand, we went together. You cast a spell. I turned around. The world above, it held no meaning. I floated calmly into the sea. We closed our eyes, and held each other, and in my sleep you spoke to me. You told me secrets of things below. You showed me places I could not know. And happily, I followed you. I was enchanted. You took me through. The world of yours, it had a meaning. I floated calmly within the sea. We closed our eyes, and held each other, and in my sleep you captured me. Across the world, under the sea. I dreamed a thousand dreams, the night you danced with me. I am yours, eternally. So take this heart of mine, and set me free. I can't say how, I don't know when, some day winds will bring you close again. Across the world, under the sea. I dreamed a thousand dreams, the night you danced with me. Across the world, under the sea. I dreamed a thousand dreams, the night you danced with me. --------------------------------

everything must fail at once. ------------------------------------- First you take the roses, then you take the blame, and soon you find yourself in debt again. I know you know what I'm saying. Why do you look at me that way? Oh, there's another taste that I can hardly take. A jump into this lonely lake, and I feel something slipping. You march along while I stand in shame. What did you think would happen if we played this silly game? I tried to tell you something was wrong from the beginning. I can only do what I can do. Why can't that be enough for you? You turn over a new card, a new deck, a new day, and put something else into play, before they change your mind. Oh, I empty my pockets and hit the floor. I'll toss you the keys as you shut the door, and I feel something slipping. I insisted on believing in the perfect idea, the original sin, but I have played my hand and the game was rigged from the beginning. I can only do what I can do. Why can't that be enough for you? Everything I wanted. Everything I wanted. Everything I wanted has gone away. I can only do what I can do. Why can't that be enough for you? Everything I wanted. Everything I wanted. Everything I wanted has gone away.

Wrapped in Wings of Water ------------------------------------- Do you remember the night she said goodbye? It was late in December, and the snow, so quiet, it shimmered and bathed in the light. And the moon had a secret, but it couldn't say. And she soon had to close her eyes. And she slipped away, wrapped in wings of water. Do you remember the night the phone began to ring? Late in December, and the snow, so quiet, shimmering. And the world would have cried if she'd let it, when she'd gone away. But the moon had a secret. She slipped away, wrapped in wings of water. Wrapped in wings of water. They found her on the shore, with her rings on her fingers. She must have known the day would come, when she'd slip away, wrapped in wings of water. Wrapped in wings of water. Wrapped in wings of water.

bite 03:10
bite ----- Swirling mindless, kiss the sweet emotion of this cherry lipstick smile, and then I fall into the arms of something. Only now I know if I could bite, caress this passion, feel the warm success of something she has, must possess her now. Spin me round, never touch the ground, beauty must become a terror, I become the clown, and I will say it if you want me to, say it if you want me to, say if you want me to stay, this time. Dizzying, I'm oh so closer now, to what I view as pure desire, this wish of passion playing, whisper secrets, closing tighter. Draw me in to push me out, I'm up so high I can not seem to feel these muscles closing round my tongue. Spin me round, never touch the ground, beauty must become a terror, I become the clown, and I will say it if you want me to, say it if you want me to, say if you want me to stay, this time.

"Open the Window" -------------------------- Everybody thinks they know the answers, but they don't even know your name. Everybody thinks they're taking chances, but they don't even understand the game. So if I told you I was broken, would you try to find a way to take the pieces I could give you, cradle me gently, and ask me to stay? My mother, my father, my sisters, all of you have left me stranded in this old place, open the window, and let me through. Everybody thinks they see inside you, but they think everyone's the same. Everybody thinks they'll stay beside you, but they just desert you when you turn away. So if I told you I was broken, would you try to find the flame that burns within me, all I can give you, cradle me gently, and hear what I say? My mother, my father, my sisters, all of you have left me stranded in this old place, open the window, and let me through. If I told you I was shattered, would you try to hide the grey, and take me into where I can see you, cradle me gently, and show me the way? If I told you (my mother) I was broken (my father), would you try to save the day (my sisters), and take me over (you left me stranded) into blue skies (in this old place), cradle me gently (open the window), and fly me away? My mother, my father, my sisters, all of you have left me stranded in this old place, open the window, I'm coming through. My mother, my father, my sisters, all of you have left me stranded in this old place, open the window, and let me through.

Black-end Day -------------------- I've got a pretty picture, hanging on my wall and here I go again now, trying to throw it away. It's a pretty picture. It's got the face of a girl I used to know. Here I go again now, trying to break it again. The lips are no longer there. The eyes will no longer stare, but I want to believe it anyway. Got to take the picture, smash it into pieces and, here I go again now, what the hell do I say? Got to break the picture, take away the emptiness she brings. Here I go again now, trying to make her feel that way. The smile is no longer there. This heart will no longer care. I don't want to believe it anyway. The sun will shine again. The sun will shine again, for another, another black end day. Another black end day.

Jenny Lynne 05:33
Jenny Lynne ----------------- All the eyes upon her, she strode into the frame. And everyone who saw her, would smile and call her name. She sparkled like a treasure. She craved a bit of fame. She dreamed the dreams of pleasure, that drew her to the flame. Oh, oh. Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne. The lights shined down upon her. His eyes begged her to stay. She moved a little closer. He smiled and asked her name. The kiss began with magic, then she saw it in his gaze. With sudden hesitation, he turned and walked away. Oh, oh. Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne. Jenny had a secret. She chose to hide away. She couldn't stand to keep it. Jenny left us yesterday. Oh, oh. Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne, Jenny Lynne.

If I have forgotten anyone here, I'm so sorry. I will buy you three lollipops next time I see you. Plus I'll let you flick me on the arm. But only once.

Never, ever believe anyone who tells you you're not good enough, strong enough, or talented enough to do what you want to do. You are the only one of you in existence, so make the most of it. Dare to be different, and most importantly of all, be yourself.

Thank you all so much, I love you!
